Note: The expected influx of troops and families may mean some changes to information and phone numbers in this guide.

The primary mission of the Fort Bliss Dental Activity is to provide diagnosis, treatment, and consultation services to all eligible beneficiaries. DENTAC facilities utilize the most up-to-date techniques with modern state-of-the-art equipment.

The DENTAC operates three dental clinics on Fort Bliss and one clinic at White Sands Missile Range.  Beneficiaries requiring after-hours emergency dental care must report directly to the WBAMC emergency department.

The DENTAC utilizes all its available resources to accomplish the primary mission: maintaining dental readiness of the active force.  As a result, the DENTAC encourages family members of active duty to enroll in the TRICARE dental program of United Concordia in order to facilitate care on the private sector.  Additionally, the DENTAC encourages military retirees and their family members to enroll in the TRICARE retiree dental program offered by the Department of Defense through the TRICARE management activity.
